Just being real for two:

I fucking hate buying tampons. They are expensive and I resent that I have to pay for them. Something something Gloria Steinem something.

Anyway, that being said, I am sure I am not the only woman capable of having a child who feels this way. If you live in California, I feel that I should alert you to the fact that Ralph’s is having a sale on Playtex tampons. Woweewowow, right? I don’t know how long the sale is going on for. Probably until Sunday. I would just say get down there and stock up while they’re less expensive than the generic ones (is there a more depressing pair of words than “generic tampons”? If so, please do let me know.)

It actually felt like kind of a big deal to me. Two boxes of 18 for five bucks. Awesome. Another month I don’t have to spend covered in old parts of my uterus and blood because I could afford some cotton to shove in my vadge. But the price break softened the blow, for sure.
